I’ve been a practitioner in the therapy world since 2018. My primary clinical experience is in neurological rehabilitation, working with traumatic brain injury survivors. My role focused on helping patients restore a sense of vitality and quality of life within my scope of practice in Speech-Language Pathology and through an approach grounded in neuroscientific principles. Despite working at one of the best hospitals in the country, I couldn’t ignore the limits of modern healthcare. Even within a skilled and deeply caring multidisciplinary team, the system still fell short in addressing the full spectrum of what it means to be human - our depth, our complexity, our aliveness. While it excelled at treating the material world - symptoms, protocols, and measurable outcomes - it often minimized or bypassed the soma, the spiritual, and the erotic, or approached them without true depth or nuance.

As someone who’s undergone brain surgery and felt what it was like to brush up against death, I could feel how these missing pieces shaped my own healing journey and how their absence, often, stood in the way. Through witnessing the resilience of the human spirit in my clinical work, and walking a parallel path in my twenties, I came to understand that true transformation must include the whole being: body, mind, heart, and soul.

Today, my work lives at the intersection of sexuality, somatics, and spirituality, where I continue to weave my background in neuroscience to support clients in reaching their goals. As a lover of the taboo, I’m especially drawn to the parts of us that are often left out because they move and shape everything beneath the surface.
